Sabir Gadzhiev
Sabir Gadzhiev was born in 1967 in Kiev, Ukraine. He was first trained at the Ternopol Art School and at the Baku Boarding School of Art. In 1983-1994 studied at the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg. Since 1995 he has participated in exhibitions in Russia and abroad. In 1995 -1996 participated in the touring exhibition "Russian Painters" in England . The member of the Painters' association "Vernissage" since 1996. His paintings have been displayed in the Town Hall of St. Petersburg (1998) and in exhibition "Anatomy of contemporary art - Metaphoric Realism" in St.Petersburg (1998). Most of his works are in private collections in Russia, USA, Germany, France, Chile, Argentine.
